Add Martial Ops Gear for Realistic Self Defense Training

martial arts systemMartial Ops is a convenient online self defense system. You don’t have to worry about rearranging your schedule to make classes because it’s on your own time. However, after taking several of these virtual classes, you’ll definitely want to practice with someone to ensure you’re correctly doing the techniques. Also, you’ll know what it feels like to have someone who is trying to fight back.

To make your self defense training even more realistic, you can purchase some “gear” from Martial Ops. They sell both a rubber training hand gun and a rubber training knife. Using these training weapons can allow you to be even more prepared for a worse situation.

It’s highly recommended that you add these items for your training. Knowing what to do in those types of situations will most definitely empower you. The hand gun is $19.95 and the knife is $14.95. Learn more about these great products and the training system at MartialOps.com.

Personal Protection Training Good Enough for the Army

self defense tacticsIt would be truly empowering if all women could be as well trained as our nation’s army. Maybe then we would all feel safer when going out alone and we’d certainly sleep better at night. But, you don’t have to join the Army or take self defense training courses for years to learn effective moves. Did you know Martial Ops was first introduced to the U.S. Armed Forces at Fort Bragg? It was taught to our troops so they could still defend themselves in case something went wrong or their weapons were not working.

The Martial Ops training program has been expanded upon by Tom Patire. Why? Well, if it’s good enough for the army, then you can guarantee it’s good enough to ward off danger here at home! The big benefit of Martial Ops is that it is easy to both learn and retain in a short amount of time. That means you don’t have to wait a year until you feel that you can defend yourself in case of an attack.

Knowing that the Army actually uses these hand to hand combat tactics definitely makes me feel better about learning them as well. With Martial Ops on your side, you can feel confident!

Martial Ops Has You in Mind

self defense trainingWhen people want to learn about how to protect themselves and learn self defense tactics, many are tempted to just sign up for any type of martial arts class, whether that be karate or taekwondo. However, the problem with signing up for some of these martial arts classes is that they’re not really meant to be used in real life scenarios; they are not the same as self defense maneuvers. Unless you’re living in the video game-like world of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, trying to attempt these moves will not help your situation. Good luck trying to perform a roundhouse kick when someone has a knife to you!

This is the exact point that Tom Patire is trying to make with the Martial Ops program. This martial arts system is not meant to be used in competition fighting; it’s meant to save your life. After completing the training, you will have the skills necessary to defend yourself against an attacker. The moves are easy to memorize and you’ll be surprised how they quickly become muscle memory. The program won’t turn you into the next Sydney Bristow from the spy show Alias, but you will have the confidence to know you will not be rendered helpless if an unfortunate event is to occur.

Petition Helps in Instating Free Self Defense Classes in Park Slope

Lately, there’s been a string of attacks in Brooklyn, New York. In particular, within a group of neighboring areas; Park Slope, Sunset Park and Bayridge. The attacks have been sporadically happening since April and in response, a neighborhood petition circulated asking to create free self defense classes for women in Park Slope. The proposal went through, which is quite a relief. The neighborhood has also set up free services  where volunteers escort women home from bars, clubs, and other places late at night to their homes so they can feel safe. That’s the goodness of people coming together.

The thing is, these areas are notoriously safe and quiet neighborhoods, which really proves the old saying “it can happen anywhere.” That’s why no matter where you live, big city or small town, you should prepare yourself with self defense classes. You never know when something can happen in your area so why not be prepared? We all like to think it’d never happen to us but unfortunately, that’s not the way it works. So you are better off going online and signing up for Martial Ops, learning at your own pace in your own home, and being prepared for the worst.

Personal Safety Training Can Protect Your Home

The scariest thing that can happen is to be at home when a break-in occurs. It’s scary enough to think of one when you aren’t home and having someone steal your priceless items and just invade a place so sacred to you. But having it happen when you or your loved ones are home is even scarier. And you want to know you can protect your family in case it should happen.

Personal safety training is important for these unexpected moments in life. Knowing self-defense can not only thwart a would-be robber, but also save your life as well as the lives of your closest family members. If you know how to deal with an assailant, it could be enough to drive them away, giving you the ability to call the police and make a report. After all, most burglars don’t want a fight and were more than likely hoping you weren’t home, so seeing you there at all will throw them off. Showing them you know how to protect yourself will more than likely get them scurrying.

You want to be ready for anything, so don’t pass on learning self defense techniques. You never know when you will need them.

Practical Self Defense Can Help in a Scary Situation

When I was 16 years old, someone attempted to mug me right around the corner from my house. It was a scary experience, especially at my age and it being so close to home. The guy trying to mug me was young as well, he couldn’t have been more than 18, and nervous. I was lucky enough to keep him distracted until a neighbor caught sight of what was occurring and stepped in, causing him to run. It could’ve been a far worse situation, had my watchful neighbor not intervened.

Practical self defense training could have helped me in such a situation. You never know when something is going to happen, even if you feel as if you live in the safest neighborhood in your city (which I always felt about my own). The truth is, the criminal element can come from anywhere and attack at any time. The only way to defend yourself is to be ready.

That’s why Martial Ops is such a great choice. You can do it at home, so there’s no excuse for not having a way to get to lessons or a place to train. You can learn practical self defense and be ready in case anyone ever tries to take advantage of you.

Mixed Martial Arts Lessons Should Be Accessible To All

There is nothing more worth learning and putting your time into than ways to defend yourself. And the thing about mixed martial arts lessons is that they aren’t always so accessible. Whether it’s that your neighborhood doesn’t have them or the nearest place to go is just too far of a trek for you to get to, or maybe the time and day just doesn’t work with your schedule, it can be hard to sign up for lessons and stick with the process.

But if you had the option to take lessons online, would you? That’s exactly what Martial Ops provides, a simple way to get the training you want and need in the comfort of your own home. Mixed martial arts lessons should be fun, informative, and cater to your needs. All you have to do is sign up, order your training props and watch the videos. Teach yourself the moves and practice them by yourself or with a friend. Do it exactly when you can, whether you get up early before work or take the time out before bed. It’s a lot easier to make the time when you can pick any time of the day you want!

Self Defense For Women Starts With Being Aware

Before you even start learning actual moves for defending yourself, when it comes to self defense for women it’s important to know how to act before you get into any situation, in order to prevent it from happening at all.

When walking alone at night or even in the day time (after all, many abductions and other incidents have happened in broad daylight), it’s important to be aware of your surroundings. Always know who is around you and let them know you are aware as well. If you feel like someone is following you, turn around and take a look. Just noticing them can deter them from anything, as they are looking for an unaware, easy target.

Always walk with confidence. Keep your head up, your posture straight, and walk like you know where your going. Never rummage through your purse, text on your phone, walk with your head down, or have headphones on while walking through an area you may feel unsafe in.

Be aware of stores around you and places you can possibly duck into or get help if you are sure someone is following you.  Stopping into the deli or the next bar is a sure way to deter anyone from coming after you.

Sometimes, even when we do our best, things still happen. And that’s when learning self defense moves can help. It’s always good knowledge to have, just in case.
